In light of the independent investigation, the state House should act with all haste to remove Rep. Shea from office for his dangerous and violent actions. The investigation uncovered and confirmed extremely serious findings against the representative, outright calling him a participant in "domestic terrorism" for his role in helping plan and participate in the armed takeover of Malheur Wildlife Refuge in Oregon, encouraged supporters to intimidate government officials and others who are opposed to his agenda, helped recruit armed militia members in opposition to law enforcement agents, and more.1 It would be unconscionable to continue to let Rep. Shea serve in office when the government itself has said that,"Representative Shea presents a present and growing threat of risk to others through political violence."2 Urge your representatives to support Rep. Shea's removal from office!
