Donald Trump knows the only way he can win the election in November is by cheating, and he’s not even trying to hide it anymore.
Last week, he confirmed what delays across the nation have been signifying for weeks – Trump is sabotaging the United States Postal Service. He admitted to holding up emergency funding because Democrats, “need that money in order to make the post office work, so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots.”
While Postmaster General DeJoy, a Trump megadonor, has agreed to postpone additional cuts, much of the damage has already been done. According to KUOW, “the Postal Service had already shut down 40% of the high-speed letter-sorting machines in the Seattle-Tacoma area” by the time of his announcement.
Stopping more damage isn’t good enough – we need Congress to roll back all the outrageous cuts already put in place by DeJoy and provide emergency funds to USPS. Will you tell your members of Congress to protect the U.S. Postal Service and ensure everyone can vote by mail this November?
