Housing is an essential part of combatting the coronavirus pandemic – of staying home to stay healthy. But as we enter the eighth month of the pandemic, the eviction moratorium is set to expire in a few weeks and thousands of families are worried about losing their home.

Nearly 200,000 households in Washington state have missed rent payments and many who are making them are using unsustainable methods – draining their savings, borrowing from friends and families, and taking on massive credit card debt.

Our neighbors all deserve to stay sheltered. No one should have to wonder if they will be on the streets when public health experts are saying we must stay home to save lives. Make no mistake, the health and safety of Washingtonians is on the line with this decision.

Please, send a message today and tell Gov. Inslee to extend the eviction moratorium through the end of March!
